Blending art, architecture, and landscape, this design brings harmony to a century-old farmhouse and its modern addition. Tasked with creating an organic environment that complements the home’s architectural duality, we shaped a palette of natural textures and subtle transitions. The vanishing-edge pool—anchored by a custom mermaid sculpture—captures the illusion that she commands the flow of the water itself. Perched on a cliff overlooking a river-rock-lined stream, the setting connects past and present, uniting the history of the home with its contemporary counterpart and completing the dialogue between house and horizon.
