The Approach

Welcomed by movement and sound, a sequence of cascading ponds flows beside the approach, the water descending in sculpted terraces of stacked stone and natural boulders. Floating stepping pads lead across the surface, turning the simple act of arrival into a sensory passage through water, texture and reflection. Each level is tuned for balance – the upper pool mirrors the sky and foliage while the lower basin gathers the energy of the falls in a soft, continuous flow. Plantings blue the edge, merging the water feature with its woodland surroundings
